Map layout
Corrode has two sites, A to the north and B to the south, and three lanes linked by a long mid. Attackers come in from the right of the map: A Lobby leads to A Main then to A Yard, B Lobby leads to B Main then to B Site. Mid is played from Mid Bottom toward Mid Stairs, Mid Top and Mid Window, then A Link or B Link open onto the sites. A is the bigger site, with A Yard, A Elbow, A Pocket and A Crane, and several high positions. B is more compact and favors the defense: narrow passages and B Tower as a high angle. The map plays on several levels, catwalks, towers and floors, and its stone can be shot through. In patch 13.08, Riot shortened the defenders' paths to the back of both sites to speed up rotations.
Key features
Three lanes and a long mid
Mid links the two sites with a long corridor: it is the map's control point, with Mid Top, Mid Window, Mid Stairs and Mid Bottom, and it leads to A Link and B Link. In 13.08, the mid half-wall became metal and moved about a meter, so that you can reach A Link without being seen from Mid Top.
Several levels and see-through stone
The map stacks catwalks, towers and floors, and its stone can be shot through. Angles often come from above or below: raise your crosshair and check heights before every duel.
A plant zone adjusted in 13.08
Riot changed the A plant zone so that the post-plant from A Link is less effective. A guide from before 13.08 may therefore describe a plant or post-plant that no longer holds.
Shortened defender paths
The paths from the defender spawn to the back of A and B were reworked in 13.08 because rotations were too long. Site retakes arrive faster than before.
Site A
A is the map's big site: an open A Yard, A Elbow and A Pocket on the north side, A Crane toward the defender spawn. It has two entries, A Main on the attack side and A Link on the mid side, and high angles for defenders. The plant zone was changed in 13.08.
Attack plan
Enter through A Main toward A Yard. The dodge.gg guide cites Initiators like Breach and Sova for the map: throw some info (Sova's Recon Bolt, Breach's Fault Line) before entering as a group, then plant in the A zone. Since 13.08, the plant zone is adjusted against the post-plant from A Link: don't count on it anymore, and check your post-plant in game.
- 1Route : Entry through A Main toward A Yard
- 2Info : Info on the high angles
- 3Plant : Plant in the A zone
Defense plan
Put Sentinel gear on the A Main entrance: Cypher's Trapwire and Cyber Cage with a camera at the top of the entrance, or Vyse's Razorvine, Shear and Arc Rose (Sportskeeda setups from 2025). Also hold a high position on A Yard. The defender paths to the back of the site changed in 13.08: check your rotations and your retake in game.
- 1Hold : High position on A Yard
- 2Trap : Cypher wire on the A Main entrance
- 3Info : Spycam on the entrance
Site B
B is more compact: one main entrance through B Main, narrow passages and B Tower as a high angle. It is easier to defend than to take, and B Link connects it to mid. The defender paths to the back of the site changed in 13.08.
Attack plan
Enter through B Main with an Initiator: the March 2026 dodge.gg guide considers Breach nearly essential for B executes, because he clears the narrow passages. Plant in the B zone then hold the B Main entrance. Keep something to delay the defuse. Access through B Link is not described: mid and the B back paths changed in 13.08.
- 1Route : Entry through B Lobby and B Main
- 2Plant : Plant in the B zone
- 3Hold : Post-plant on the B Main entrance
Defense plan
B is compact and favors the defense. Put Cypher's Trapwire on the B Main entrance and, with Vyse, Razorvine, the Shear along the wall and the Arc Rose across from it. Hold a high position from B Tower, with a Cypher camera on the green structure of the site. These positions predate 13.08: check them in game.
- 1Hold : High position from B Tower
- 2Trap : Cypher wire on the B Main entrance
- 3Info : Spycam on the site

Corrode tips
- Corrode has several levels (catwalks, towers, floors) and stone you can shoot through: check heights before you peek, A Yard and B Tower first.
- On B, play with an Initiator who clears the narrow passages: the March 2026 dodge.gg guide considers Breach nearly essential for B executes.
- On A, don't count on the post-plant from A Link anymore: the plant zone was adjusted in 13.08 against that placement.
- The flooded passages make noise when you run through them: walk to mask your arrival and listen for the opponents'.
- Keep something to delay the defuse after the plant: retakes are faster since the defender paths were shortened.
