Map layout
Breeze has two sites on an island. A is on the right of the minimap, around A Pyramids, and B is on the left. Mid, with its doors, corridors and Mid Nest, links the two sites. The patch 12.00 rework tightened the map: Mid Wood Doors is widened, the Halls entrance on the attack side is gone, a wall extended toward B Main bothers mid defenders and raised walls at the back of B reduce the positions to clear. Riot says it wanted fewer complex angles, tighter open spaces and faster defensive rotations. Treat old setups from before 12.00 with suspicion: Riot warns that many no longer work.
Key features
Full rework at patch 12.00
Patch 12.00 is, according to Riot, the biggest Breeze rework: tighter mid, Halls rebuilt, a wall extended toward B Main, a new box at the back of A. Riot notes that many old setups no longer work.
Doors between the attacker spawn and mid
The old Chute is replaced by two doors that open when a player approaches, from both sides. They link the attacker spawn to mid, a bit like Bind's teleporter doors.
Mid height now needs an ability
The mid platform on the attack side can now only be reached with a movement ability, such as Jett's Updraft or Omen's Shrouded Step, and Mid Nest is simplified so a normal smoke covers it.
Changed path toward B
The path from the attacker spawn to the window in front of B is removed, the window is widened and the spawn steps are replaced by a wall. You can still get in by jumping onto boxes on each side.
Site A
A is open and revolves around A Pyramids. Since patch 12.00, the Halls entrance on the attack side is removed, Mid Wood Doors is widened and a new box at the back gives cover for the post-plant. Wall blocks added in the main lane of A tighten the space.
Attack plan
Come in through A Shop and Mid Wood Doors, widened since the rework. A small window there lets info through (Fade's Haunt, Sova's Owl Drone) before you enter. Enter together, then plant in the A Site zone. After the plant, use the new box at the back as cover against defenders retaking from their spawn.
- 1Route : Entry through A Shop
- 2Route : Entry through Mid Wood Doors
- 3Plant : Plant in the A Site zone
- 4Hold : Post-plant at the back of the site
Defense plan
Hold mid and the doors: Mid Wood Doors is wider since the rework, which removes a corner defenders used to spam. Play around A Pyramids for close duels. The approach from the defender spawn is closed off and joins mid through a new corridor, which speeds up the rotation. If the site falls, retake from A Bridge with abilities placed together.
- 1Hold : Hold around A Pyramids
- 2Hold : Watch Mid Wood Doors
- 3Hold : Relay from A Ramp
- 4Route : Retake through A Bridge
Site B
B is an open site. Since patch 12.00, a wall extended toward B Main bothers mid defenders, raised walls at the back reduce the positions to clear and the cubby is enlarged. The attacker spawn steps are replaced by a wall.
Attack plan
Push through B Elbow toward the site, or cut through B Tunnel from mid to cross the defenders. The raised walls at the back of B reduce the positions to clear. Plant in the site zone, then cover B Main and the tunnel. The enlarged cubby works as cover for the post-plant and for retakes.
- 1Route : Entry through B Elbow toward the site
- 2Route : Split through B Tunnel
- 3Plant : Plant in the B Site zone
- 4Hold : Post-plant on the site, facing B Main
Defense plan
Put an anchor on the site and a player on B Elbow or the tunnel. The wall extended toward B Main limits what the mid player can watch: give them a precise position. B Elbow is closed off by windows and its wall can no longer be climbed. Defensive rotations are faster since the rework, but don't leave A too early. Retake from B Wall, at the same time as a teammate.
- 1Hold : Hold B Tunnel
- 2Hold : Anchor on B Site
- 3Hold : Watch B Elbow
- 4Route : Retake through B Wall
Breeze tips
- Look at mid first: it has been tighter since patch 12.00, and Mid Wood Doors is widened.
- Keep your crosshair at head height on the angle you are opening: the rework cut down the complex angles, so aim before you start the duel.
- Use the info from the small window at Mid Wood Doors (Fade's Haunt, Sova's Owl Drone) before you enter A.
- Don't reuse a setup from before January 2026: the rework moved walls and boxes, Riot said so itself.
- At B, the raised walls at the back reduce the positions to clear: check the enlarged cubby before you give up the angle.
