Tejo

Playstyle

Tejo is an Initiator who prepares the ground from a distance. Stealth Drone scans an angle and reveals the enemies it hits, Special Delivery concusses and damages an area, and Guided Salvo sends missiles at two positions on the map to dislodge the defenders. Armageddon draws a line of deadly explosions that denies an entire path. You stay behind your entrants, pin the enemies down with your strikes, then let your team push into the open space. On defense, your strikes delay Spike plants and force the attackers to move. Keep your drone to confirm a position before firing.

Abilities

Key CBasic

Stealth Drone

400 credits · 1 charge

You launch the drone, pilot it, then trigger a pulse that suppresses abilities and reveals the enemies it hits. It keeps an image of their position for a few seconds.

Key numbers

  • Lifetime: 6 s
  • Drone HP: 42
  • Pulse: 16 m radius, reveals and suppresses
  • Frozen image of the enemies hit: 8 s
  • Scan an angle before engaging: the frozen image gives the position so your team can fire right away.
  • Trigger the pulse from a good distance without looking for a duel: the drone is fragile, and an enemy who spots it destroys it.
Key QBasic

Special Delivery

200 credits · 1 charge

You throw a sticky grenade that explodes on the first surface it touches. It concusses the enemies in the area and deals some damage. Alternate fire makes it bounce once.

Key numbers

  • Damage: 20 to 35 depending on distance from the center
  • Concuss: 2.5 s
  • Throw delay: 0.9 s
  • Aim where the enemy will be: the grenade takes time to land and a moving opponent can get away.
  • Use the bounce of alternate fire to get around an angle and reach an enemy behind a corner.
Key ESignature

Guided Salvo

150 credits · 1 free charge per round · 2 charges

You target up to two positions on the map, then launch autonomous missiles that explode several times on arrival. Each charge fires one missile, and the ability no longer recharges since patch 10.09.

Key numbers

  • Each charge fires 1 missile
  • Damage: 50 to 65 per tick, 3 ticks over 1.6 s
  • Targeting range: 45 m (55 m before 10.09)
  • No automatic recharge
  • Target a place where the enemy is hiding or the Spike being planted: they have to move or lose HP.
  • Fire one missile at a time when you want to save: you only have two charges and no recharge.
Key XUltimate

Armageddon

9 ultimate points

You open a tactical map, choose a start point then an end point, and a line of explosions comes down between the two. Alternate fire cancels the start point during targeting.

Key numbers

  • Launch delay: 3.08 s
  • Damage: 60 per tick, 4 ticks over 1 s per segment
  • Confirm the positions with the drone before firing: the delay is long and alerted enemies clear out.
  • Fire it on the entry path or on a Spike being defused to force the enemies to leave.

Strengths

  • Your long-range strikes pin down or dislodge enemies without you exposing your body, which is valuable against well-established defenders.
  • The drone reveals and suppresses the abilities of the enemies it hits, which sets up a won duel for your team.
  • Special Delivery concusses through corners, unlike a flash that the enemy can avoid by looking away.
  • Guided Salvo and Armageddon cover a whole area with repeated damage: planting or defusing the Spike becomes more costly.

Weaknesses

  • Tejo has few movement or escape tools: if he is found, he mostly relies on his weapon.
  • Guided Salvo only has two charges, with no recharge since 10.09: you can't spam it.
  • Armageddon has a long launch delay (3.08 s): an alerted enemy has time to leave the line.
  • The drone is fragile (42 HP) and you stay still while you pilot it.

Tips

  1. Scan with the drone before spending Guided Salvo, so its missiles land on real enemies.
  2. Stay behind your entrants and call out every effect that hits, so your team pushes at the right time.
  3. Keep a Guided Salvo charge for the post-plant or the Spike plant, that's where it pays off the most.
  4. On a low-budget round, the free Guided Salvo charge and Special Delivery (200) already give you impact.
  5. Train precise tracking: after a drone or a concuss, the target is slowed or located, and you need to follow it at center.
  6. Place your crosshair at head height on the angle where you aim a strike: reaction time is short when an enemy comes out.

The aim to train

The Road2Radiant benchmark subcategories that matter most here.

  • Precise

    Smooth precision tracking

When a target is revealed or concussed by your strikes, it barely moves: precise tracking wins you the duel.

    Drills to improve
  • Static

    Clicking on static targets

After a strike, the enemies come out of a specific angle, and an exact click is worth more than a spray.
