Skye

Playstyle

Skye sets up the entry and supports the team. You send Trailblazer to scout and disorient a defender, you curve Guiding Light around an angle to blind those holding the site, then your Duelists enter. Regrowth gives health back to your allies between two trades, but not to you. Seekers reveals and hinders the vision of several enemies, ideal before an execute or for a retake. You position yourself behind the entrants, call out your flashes and finish the disrupted enemies with a precise weapon.

Abilities

Key CBasic

Regrowth

150 credits · 1 charge

You summon a healing circle that restores nearby allies as long as you hold the channel. Each ally receives HP until the 100 HP pool runs out. The ability doesn't heal you, so you use it after the entry rather than before.

Key numbers

  • Healing zone: 100 HP in total
  • Healing: 20 HP per second
  • Doesn't heal Skye
  • Heal a teammate who took damage right after the site take, before you expose yourself to the retake.
  • Keep the pool for several allies: it is shared among them, so don't waste it on a single player.
Key QBasic

Trailblazer

300 credits · 1 charge

You launch a Tasmanian tiger and control it during its run. It can leap forward then explode, which disorients the enemies it hits and damages them slightly. It serves as a scout and a disorient in a single move.

Key numbers

  • Lifetime: 6 s
  • The animal has 80 HP
  • Direct contact: 30 damage
  • Disorient: 2.5 to 4 s
  • Vary the tiger's path from round to round: enemies hear its noise and quickly learn your usual route.
  • Trigger the explosion just before your team enters, so the defenders are slowed when the Duelists step out.
Key ESignature

Guiding Light

250 credits · 1 free charge per round · 2 charges

You launch a hawk that you can curve by holding fire. Reactivating it in flight turns it into light and blinds the enemies who look at the explosion. This lets you get past a closed angle and blind a site without exposing yourself.

Key numbers

  • Flight duration: 2 s
  • Blind: 1 to 2.25 s
  • Curve the hawk around a wall rather than in a straight line: the opponent doesn't see the light coming.
  • Call out "flash" before using it so your teammates aren't blinded along with the defenders.
Key XUltimate

Seekers

8 ultimate points

You release seekers that chase the nearest enemies. If they reach them, they shrink their field of view and slow them. Enemies can destroy them before impact. They are used to open a site or to disrupt a retake.

Key numbers

  • Duration: 15 s
  • Each seeker has 120 HP
  • Reduced vision: 3 s
  • 60% slow: 5 s
  • Release them just before the team enters: enemies blinded by the reduced vision don't see your Duelists coming.
  • Follow the seekers on screen to see which opponents are still in range, then chain into Guiding Light.

Strengths

  • Guiding Light curves around angles and doors: you blind a defender holding a tight angle without exposing yourself to their shot.
  • Trailblazer spots an enemy and disorients them in a single move, combining info and a slow before the entry.
  • Regrowth heals nearby allies (20 HP per second, 100 HP pool): the team keeps its health between two duels.
  • Seekers hits up to three enemies: the reduced vision and the slow give a clear advantage on an entry or a retake.

Weaknesses

  • Regrowth doesn't heal you: if you take damage, you depend on another healer or on your weapon.
  • You are defenseless while you control the tiger: a flank costs you a life without you being able to react.
  • Guiding Light needs open space and a line of sight: an enemy who turns around in time avoids the blind.
  • Seekers can be destroyed before impact: an attentive player reduces the value of the ultimate.

Tips

  1. Scan with Trailblazer, blind with Guiding Light, then let your Duelists enter: you shouldn't be the first on the site.
  2. Listen for the hawk's noise and wait for the explosion before taking the angle: a blinded enemy can't aim at you, but only for a short moment.
  3. On a retake, chain Seekers, Trailblazer and Guiding Light so the defenders are disrupted in advance.
  4. Work your aim on stationary targets: a blinded enemy often stays in place, and your first shot decides the duel.
  5. Avoid sending Trailblazer to the same place every round: the animal's noise gives away your position and the enemies punish you.

The aim to train

The Road2Radiant benchmark subcategories that matter most here.

  • Static

    Clicking on static targets

A disoriented or blinded enemy often holds their position: your first shot on a nearly stationary target turns your ability into a kill.

  • Speed

    Fast target switching

After a flash or a tiger, several enemies can be disrupted in a row: switching targets fast lets you chain the duels.
